"Strengthening Families Through Equipping Churches" It is our vision at the Reed Family Counseling Center that families would be strengthened through the work of the local church. We believe that the local church is the means by which all ministry must be carried out. It is our earnest desire to see marriages saved, relationships fostered, and lives changed through the work of the local churches. We are committed to equipping churches with the resources to meet these needs as well as partnering with churches to direct people toward a positive relationship with God. We believe that of all the relationships we will have in our lives, our relationship to God is the most important. It is from our understanding of who God is and our relationship to Him that all other relationships will begin to take shape. Understanding that God has created each person differently and has uniquely provided them with strengths and needs, is the beginning of a quest toward a life that fulfills the unique purpose God has for each person. We know that when a person is using their God-given gifts and meeting their God-given needs in ways that are God-honoring, then they will truly understand what it means to be fulfilled.
